Default Typewritter mode; Prints text Vertically rather than horizontally

I have just installed Foxit 2.3. There is a document which I need to use which has a combination of pages in portrait and landscape mode. While using the typewriter mode in landscape mode pages, the text appears to be written vertically.

Pl. advise.

While you are working on that bug, which I personally am not experiencing for some reason, could you please look into another Typewriter issue?

In some past versions, I believe that when Typewriter was selected, the Formatting Tools toolbar would appear, but would then be hidden when the Hand Tool was selected. In the last two versions, the Formatting Tools toolbar appears when Typewriter is selected, but REMAINS visible unless it is specifically deselected.

Can this behavior be changed?

I tried but failed somehow. My original document is already in PDF format [landscape mode]. I installed PDFcreator and opened the document in Foxit and printed it as per the documentation on your website. When I reopened the document using Foxit, the typewritter mode still printed it out the text vertically.

Pl. advise.
