Hello,
I have a directory wich will soon contain nearly 500 PDF Documents (nearly 50.000 sites). I have used IFilter and Windows Vista Desktop Search to index the content of this directory. I want to use Windows Vista Desktop Search to identify the PDF Documents which are containing my searchstring. After I have identified the PDF Documents which are containing my searchstring I want to open them all in Foxit Reader at the same time. Then I want to search in all these Documents again for the searchstring. My Problem is that I dont know how to search all my Tabs at one time. :o( Foxit offers me the possibility to search across one ore more pdf files and asks me if I want to search in "the current pdf document" or in "all documents" at a specific destination. But I only want to search all Tabs that I have opend and dont know how. I apologize for my bad english I hope my question is understandable. Thanks! |

Hello,
Thanks for interest in Foxit PDF IFilter. Foxit PDF IFilter only support to extract the content and properties form pdf files to search engine, so you can find the pdf file you want by typing the keyword in search engine. About you want to find keyword directly of pdf file in Windows Desktop Search. Foxit PDF IFilter doesn’t support it, you can use Foxit reader open the pdf file and use the find tool to locate it. Best Regards, Emily |
