Hi guys, I would like to know how to prevent foxit from opening the same file twice.
I do not use tabs at all. I have allowed multiple instances so that i can view different pdfs in different windows. But say i have opened 1.pdf and 2.pdf, upon opening 1.pdf, foxit will simply open a new window. hence i will have 2 1.pdf and 1 2.pdf opened. I would like to have it like microsoft office. i.e. if i opened and opened file, it will bring me to the already-opened window instead of a new duplicate. hopefully my post is comprehendable. facade |

Thanks for your posting here.
As you know, currently Reader always openS the file with a new window. I will forward your request to our team for references. Thanks. Mantis ID:0012127

Hi,
I have the contrary problem: I need Foxit to open the same file twice (after it has been updated) to compare the old and the new version. Therefore I use the "multiple instances"-mode. But I'd also like to be able to open one file twice in tabbed mode! |

Haha, ok, I will add your suggestion to the feature request list. But desingner may prefer the current tab mode. :)
