Fleurrose ,Firstly, please help to update your existing Foxit PDF Reader Mobile for Android to latest version 7.2.1 from Google play store to see if it helps? If the changes you made in PDF file still cannot be saved automatically after you having closed PDF file within our Foxit PDF Reader Mobile for Android application, please help to provide with us the following information for further analysis:
1:Your device model an its Android OS version number.
2: Did this issue happen to all PDF files or just some particular PDF files? Please send us one PDF file sample.
3:Which tools did you selected to make changes in PDF file generally before you tried to close the document and how you closed the PDF file?
4:If it is possible, please help to record a video to show us the whole process you have done for replicating this issue.

If it is inconvenience to upload the files here, you may email it to [email protected] And indicate this thread link. Thank you

    Look forward to your reply.

    1. Turn Data Roaming off
    2. Turn Data Saver on
    3. Switch off the settings for Unknown Sources
    4. Set the Battery Saver to turn on automatically
    5. Keep your data backed up by Android

Yes, you can download and save files directly to your smartphone or tablet with the right tools and a bit of patience.
Usually, if you use the Safari browser, it will open or start playing the download without a file saving option. However, the file is not transferred to the computer automatically, and to complete the download you need to take some extra measures.

Otherwise, you'll have been trying to download the file and you won't be able to go back to it later.

    Hi nwbdan,

There's no save option. But the document will be automatically saved once you exit the program. I've forwarded your comments as suggestion to Mobile team so we may consider to add a save option in Foxit Reader for Mobile. Thank you.
