  • A question about using Foxit PDF printer with Word 2016

    Hello people

How can I create a PDF file with this software so that the text can not be highlighted/copied/searched? So basically each page is just an image.

Fox's Beautiful Biscuits ,Thanks for your post.We cannot convert MS word file into image-based PDF file directly. According to your request,we suggest you do as follows to achieve it:
1: Download and install our Foxit PhantomPDF by downloading it from our official download center below:
Foxit PDF software download and cloud service trial center. Free download PDF software for Windows, Mac, iOS, or Android to view, convert & edit PDF files.

2:Choose to print the word file with Foxit PhantomPDF Printer or click on "Foxit PDF" tab in your word file>"Create PDF" to convert the opened word file into PDF file.
3:Open the newly converted PDF file with Foxit PhantomPDF,click on "File"tab>"Print",select "Foxit PhantomPDF Printer" as printer and check option "print as image“ in Foxit PhantomPDF Print dialog box to convert the PDF file into a new image-based PDF file.

Any further questions or concerns, please contact us any time.

Either you can select option in the document as "image only" so that words can't be copied or you can make it password protected and share with "view only" option. I think this will help you out.

If you don’t already have it, there’s an easy way to install the Foxit PDF Creator add-in to Microsoft Office applications such as Excel.

To help increase your productivity, Microsoft Office add-ins offer custom commands and new features in Office programs. Not to be outdone, we’ve got one for PDF, of course.
            Thanks.
