  • Bug Foxit PDF Creator 11 COM add-in causing MS Office desktop apps to crash

I upgraded from Foxit Phantom PDF Phantom Business to version 11 and have found the Foxit PDF Creater COM add-in is causning the MS Office 2019 desktop apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to crash when closing them down.

Closing an instance or Word, Excel or PowerPoint causes the application to hang, then close after a while and immediately restart.'

This behaviour disappears with the Foxit PDF Creater COM add-in is disabled.

Uninstalling version 11 and reinstalling vs 10.1.4 rectifies the issue.

Currently running Windows 10 Pro 21H1.
