    Bug Foxit PDF Creator 11 COM add-in causing MS Office desktop apps to crash

    I upgraded from Foxit Phantom PDF Phantom Business 10.1.4.37651 to version 11 and have found the Foxit PDF Creater COM add-in is causning the MS Office 2019 desktop apps (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) to crash when closing them down.

    Closing an instance or Word, Excel or PowerPoint causes the application to hang, then close after a while and immediately restart.'

    This behaviour disappears with the Foxit PDF Creater COM add-in is disabled.

    Uninstalling version 11 and reinstalling vs 10.1.4 rectifies the issue.

    Currently running Windows 10 Pro 21H1.

    kesawi ,we apologize for the trouble. Did you activate your Foxit PDF Editor by signing in with your subscription account and password?
    If yes,this office crash issue also could be replicated by our QA team,its report ID in our internal bug tracking system is#QCPHANTOM-27906.
    We will keep you informed once we get a solution for it.

      kesawi , Regarding this issue you mentioned in this thread, we need your help to give our internal version a try at your convenience to see whether the issue gets resolved by using the internal version or not? Please help to contact with Foxit Support team directly for getting the internal version. To contact Foxit Support team,please submit a ticket from our Ticket submit page,please indicate this thread link and add "Lisa Attn" in the subject when you submitting the ticket.
