I am have been using Foxit on a Windows PC for sometime and have always been able to preview the files in File Explorer until recently, now I get File not found in the preview which is only on the recently made PDF's made in Foxit. Earlier ones (made a month or two do show in the preview pane.

kevr,The symptom that you mentioned may be caused by a bug in the Microsoft Edge PDF Preview handler and you are now having Microsoft Edge PDF previewer handler as your system’s default PDF previewer in your computer. The Microsoft Edge’s PDF preview handler fails to generate the preview if the PDF file name or the folder path contains the “#” symbol — e.g., test#123.pdf, #test123.pdf.
