  • Mouse event works in Foxit - not in Adobe reader

    Hi - the forms I am generating using Phantom must work in both Foxit and Adobe readers. I have a problem with mouse up/down/etc events which work in Foxit but not in Adobe. In Foxit, as soon as the mouse event occurs, the javascript code does what it is meant to do - that is, today's date immediately displays in the field. But when the form is read in Adobe, the date only appears after I click in the next field or in fact if I click anywhere elsewhere on the page. I have tried all options and google searched everywhere.
    How can I get Adobe to react to mouse clicks the same way that Foxit does?

    Please provide the following info:
    1) PDF form in question;
    2) In which field the date should be displayed;
    3) How to replicate the issue;
    4) Which version of Foxit PhantomPDF did you use to design the form?
    5) Your OS type. (E.g. Win 10, 64-bit)

    If it is inconvenient to upload the file here, you may email it to [email protected]. Thank you.
