  • All the shortcuts, files and folders not being removed when uninstalling the program!

    I have a Windows 8.1 64-bit system. I have tried your Foxit PhantomPDF 6.1.1.1025. When I uninstalled it, all the shortcuts (Desktop & Start Menu), files and folders were not removed. I re installed the program and right away uninstalled it then it removed everything. I took the snapshot after the first uninstall attempt.

    I was able to figure out why I was having this issue. After installing your program, I removed all of the temporary files from the %LocalAppData%\Temp folder.
    Then, I ran a popular registry cleaner program and it found traces of the deleted files in the Windows Registry. I removed those values and that's why your program didn't uninstall successfully. So basically, it is an issue with your installer package not the registry cleaner. Any registry cleaner will remove the traces that point to removed files in the Temp folder. I'm listing the registry data below.
