  • Page order when scanning pages

    We have a couple dell machines, windows 10 latest version, which are using the latest version of Foxit Phantompdf for business. When scanning we are noticing some pages get placed out of order. After scanning a few pages one or more of them may be 'thrown' up to page 3 (usually) in the list of thumbnails. This is very frustrating constantly having to monitor if foxit has 'moved or misplaced' a page. Especially when we are scanning larger files.

    Could we have a setting that needs changing.

    Help please.

    blaechelt ,We apologize for any difficulty using Foxit Software. Regarding this situation you mentioned,we suggest you try to perform a fresh installation for your Foxit PhantomPDF,delete the scanning configuration file and upgrade your scanner driver to latest version to see if it helps? Please do as follows:
    1)Please make sure you've closed all Foxit PhantomPDF related programs (IE, Firefox...) then go to "Control Panel"->"Add/Remove Programs" to uninstall Foxit PhantomPDF;
    Go to "Start"->"Run"-> input regedit -> find "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Foxit Software\Foxit PhantomPDF 10.0" and "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Foxit Software\Foxit PhantomPDF 10.0" to delete the whole folder of Foxit PhantomPDF 10.0;
    2)Download a newest version of PhantomPDF 10.1 from the link below:
    http://cdn01.foxitsoftware.com/produ..._enu_Setup.msi
    and install it.
    3)Delete the scanning configuration file "ScanOpeData.xml" from the folder below:
    "C:\Users\[current username]\AppData\Roaming\Foxit Software\Foxit PhantomPDF\Scans"
    4)Upgrade your scanner driver to latest version from its official website.
    Finally,please try to give the new installation a try. If the issue still persists,please help to provide with us the following information for further analysis:
    1:Your OS information(E.g.windows 10x64bit).
    2:Your scanner model and its driver version number.
    3:Please help to take a screenshot of your Foxit PhantomPDF scan dialog box to show us your scanning settings in Foxit PhantomPDF.
    4:Please help to use the LiceCap tool to generate an animated gif that shows how to perform the actions that you mentioned in adobe for our referencing.
    Here's the download link:
    http://sync-us.foxitsoftware.com/iss/Tools/LICEcap.zip
    5:Please send us one problematic scanned document.
    If it is not convenient to send documents on forum,please help to send them to [email protected] (Attn.Lisa) and indicate this thread when you email to us.
