How to copy highlighted words?

Hello,
I was wondering if is it possible to copy a highlighted words without removing the highlighting first?
When I try to select a word in a highlighted line I always end with selecting the highlight itself
Therefore, I either have to remove the highlight or enter the text editing mode to copy the word
Is there an easier way to do that?

Before selecting the texts, please go to Home tab->Select->choose 'Select Text and Image' option, then you can select and copy the texts directly.
