FPMKEY causing Foxit PhantomPDF to crash

One of our computers has PhantomPDF Standard loaded and out of the blue today it started crashing. After much troubleshooting I determine that the cause was the FPMKEY.txt file. You can remove it and it opens albeit in trial mode. When you try and Activate it a new FPMKEY.txt files is created and it crashes when you try to open the program. You can remove the FPMKEY.txt file an it works.

Anyone else seen this issue or know of a fix? I have tried uninstalling and removing all Foxit folders and cleaning the registry. Running on a Windows 7 64 bit pc. Foxit PhantomPDF Business v6.1.2.1227.
