Feature Multiple Signature fields

I am using Version: 9.6.0.25114 on Windows 10 Pro.

I'm a newbie, so I appreciate your patience with this problem:


I created a PDF with two signature fields. When the second person tries to sign the document, they see the message

"The current document is protected, you can not create signatures"

I read another post that says that a document can only be protected after the last person signs it, so this is especially puzzling.

Foxit PhantomPDF supports to create multiple signature fields by going to Form tab->signature field. Only when you sign first signature field and choose 'lock document' option, then you can not sign for second one. Otherwise, you can sign multiple signatures by creating multiple signature fields.
