How do I disable Foxit 11's new "Format tab"?

I am another new member and long-term Foxit user and evangelist who is very frustrated by this intrusive pop up. It is not only that it takes up so much screen space, but also that it makes Foxit unresponsive for up to about 30 seconds each time it pops up, which drastically reduces its usability.
I will be uninstalling V11 and going back to V10, but I just can't understand how this could possibly have gone on for this long without being fixed!
It can't be that hard; as everyone on this forum has been suggesting, put it back in the ribbon! The only reason I can see why this would not have already happened is that someone with enough sway on the dev team has decided it's going to remain this way because their ego dictates this. If that's not the case, just get it fixed, for crying out loud!

EDIT: By the way, the posted link for version 10 on the first page of this forum does not work in Brave browser.

Our team do realize it and it is absolutely to be improved in future release. Once it is available, we will keep all of you posted.

I find it hard to believe that whoever is responsible for the schedule recognizes the magnitude of this problem. Redesigning it for a November release makes sense, but waiting until then to fix it makes no sense. It seems as if they think it's only slightly annoying, not completely unusable.

They did put out a security update, so there's obviously somebody there. Although, if they continue at this rate, they're not going to have any customers.

That's right but it's likely a separate team that are responsible for security fixes

Hello all, Sorry you have a bad experience. Our latest released version 11.0.1 is a security update version that focusing on addressing some security vulnerabilities,so it still doesn't make any change on the existing format panel yet. All of our product management team and Dev team have already pay attention to your feedbacks about the format panel,they will improve the working mechanism of the format panel in our next release version which is version 11.1.

Lisa_lee I feel sorry that you get so much "hate"... (I don't mean only you specifically, but everyone from the devs and the rest that get a lot of negative input when something goes bad.)

The delay would be understandable if it was free. Too bad they're charging full price for a version that is unusable...

because of the darkmode, are there details about the configurability? I'am afraid, that the "darkmode" for the Foxit Editor will be just as light grey as the one in Foxit PhantomPDF. Is there perhaps the possibility to configure the program colors / themes yourself?

That looks really really nice! Is there also an option to invert the document pages to dark, like the new improved dark mode for pages in word, or the darkmode for Mails in Outlook, so that you can turn/invert the white document background of the document pages to dark and the text to white (with one click)?

Dear Roy_Chen,

to be more precise, I mean a dark mode for the A4 page that is currently being filled with words or pictures. In Word (365) the A4 Pages, in Outlook (365) the message/Mail you type, in OneNote (365) the page, you fill with content. In Outlook, Word and OneNote 365 you can invert the document-background without real-changing the background, you only set a theme, a invert-theme and change the page-background to dark, the black types to white, like a filter.
