  • Feature Text and Object edit not loaded

We have a volume license for PDF Editor. Since the last update from Phantom(10) to Editor(11) the ability to edit text and objects seems to be missing from our installs. The plugin exists in the directory but shows as not loaded in the plugin list. Is this a glitch in the matrix or did Foxit move around the licensing to demand more $ on Pro for what should be standard features in Editor?

    1) Pleaes right-click on Foxit PDF Editor icon then choose "Open File Location" to browse to the installation directory of Foxit PDF Editor, then open the folder "Plugins" to check if there's a file named "PageEditor.fpi". If not, I would encourage you to perform a re-installation of Foxit PDF Editor version 11.0.1.
You may download the setup package from Foxit downloads page: https://www.foxit.com/downloads/
    2) Please browse to the install directory as well, then open the file "fpmkey.txt" to check if there's Edit module in the license modules. If not, please go to this web page to submit a support ticket to get further help with the key: https://kb.foxitsoftware.com/hc/en-us

    Thank you.

      Thanks for the reply.
Checked on both and they are there, the fpmkey has editing on the module list.

I have opened a ticket with support to follow up.

They also suggested a clean install in addition to deleting some registry keys. This resulted in no change in behavior.
Deactivating the license and switching to a trial mode allowed the modules to load correctly but after reactivation the modules immediately unloaded again leading to possible error with license.
Awaiting feedback from the support ticket at this time and will follow up as info comes available.

Thanks for the update. Since the issue maybe license related, please email us your license information for checking.
