  • Background image on scanned PDF

    Good afternoon,

First, my English is not so good. So I will apologize for that

I've got the next problem: I have scanned a letter to PDF on my computer. I was searching and trying for an option to get a background picture on that PDF-file. It doesn't work.
Is it possible to add an background image to an scanned PDF? I know that if it is an PDF what was made on a computer, you can add an background image later by using Foxit Phantom (I have te trial version of version 2.2.3).

    Bye,
    Dippie94

    Hi Dippie94,

You may go under 'Organize' menu -> use 'Watermark' or 'Background' to insert a background picture. If you have any further questions about this, please email [email protected] and include the mentioned scanned PDF document. Thank you.

      I know cherry.

The problem is when I scan from a Xerox WorkCentre 7345 I cannot insert a background image. The Xerox 7345 should have an OCR option, and I am mostly sure I enabled that option on the printer, but it doesn't work at all.

      Bye.

        Hi Dippie94,

Background image can not be inserted when you scan from the the scanner. We have to manually add it later in Foxit PhantomPDF. Regarding the OCR: Can the OCR work when you try to scan into an image instead?
