[email protected] ,I am sorry that there is not any way to make the Foxit eSign always stay as a separate tab on the toolbar. If you need to use the Foxit ink sign feature (formerly known as Fill & Sign feature ) frequently and never use the Foxit eSign feature, you may also choose to disable the Foxit eSign service in Foxit PDF Editor by referring to the instructions mentioned in this article. In the article,it also provides the method via changing the registry key.

Any further questions or concerns, please contact us again at any time.

Yeah, this is just terrible. This was deployed to 500 users and the change is so drastic that I have to do training all over. Why would you change it so much? Is there a way to make sure the eSign stays on the toolbar? instead of constantly going to protect? can itbe done via regiedit? So frustrating.

We have Foxit PDF Editor. We also do not see the Fill & Sign after the update. And the solution provided does not work since when we click on Protect, we do not see Foxit esign. See attached image.

dustinn ,We fully understand the inconvenience brought to you by the newly designed "Foxit eSign" and "right-sided format panel" workflow. The comments you posted in this forum thread have already been forwarded to our product management team for their pursue and reference (report ID#PHANTOM-16420).
However, it must be mentioned that the "Fill&Sign" feature that you need to use hasn't been deleted and it is still existing in V11.2. Would you please help to refer to the following two articles to know how to switch back the Fill & Sign feature in Foxit PDF Editor as a workaround in the existing version of Foxit PDF Editor:

The sole reason I bought Foxit was so users such as myself could add signatures to PDF's. They made it hard enough to find a few updates ago and now removing it completely is just inexcusable.

We understand the need to add features & functionality to the product, but doing so at the expense of breaking long-standing existing workflows is making customers unhappy.

Corporate customers need a way to disable this during installation, or at worst via the registry. Ideally this should be included in the release notes. We're not going around to all of our users individually ticking a box in settings to make this go away.

11.2 is an absolute dumpster fire at my office. 💩🔥🚒
I woke up today with many tickets for this.
I've never seen an update break so many internal workflows..
Two of our departments use the Fill & Sign option hundreds of times a day to give their sign-off.
They don't need a protected/cert'd sig for their process, its an internal way to quickly see who has approved it.
Lots of our users wanted to go back to v10 just because editing text was so much easier with the ability to change font, size, color, etc all a click away. Now its hard for even the IT team to find it.
I've been rolling most of our users back to 11.1 which still has the fill & sign.

Lisa_lee 's image for the work around doesn't exist on newest v11.2.x as PDF sign has been removed from preferences.
[email protected] Are you allowed to post the download link? I have the msi, but its already been customized with the FCT.

EddieC - Here is the FCT for 11.1 if anyone is interested http://cdn01.foxitsoftware.com/produ.../11.1.0/tools/
    and 11.2 http://cdn01.foxitsoftware.com/produ.../11.2.0/tools/
Technically this is the 'worst case' because GPO's just change registry settings in a graceful way and IDK if its even an option to fix this.

asdnou4 - The links contain their ADMX files, so maybe there is a group policy setting you can use for Lisa's fix or your work around if you don't want to roll back to 11.1 or upgrade 100's of users individually, but i'm not going that path and just rolling back versions.

Good luck everyone. Hopefully Foxit fixes this garbo or at least makes the 11.1 download link public.

Thanks for the feedback. Would you please try to uncheck "Convert signature to black&white" in the Options of your created signature and see if the image quality would be better?
Regarding the download link for previous version, could you pelase submit a ticket here: https://www.foxit.com/support/ticket.html?isReturn=1 and input the subject Attn: Cherry? Thank you.

Same problem here. Moreover, I've noticed that if you add new signature in this version, it's low-res pixelated mess. Even if I use "retain original quality" option. Could someone please provide a link for to download previous version?

Thank you for your feedback. I have forwarded your suggestion to our PM team, they will consider it in future version, for the release notes, may I suggest you refer to Version History to get it?
    https://www.foxit.com/pdf-editor/version-history.html

Thanks again for choosing Foxit as your pdf solution.

To Switch to ink sign (Formerly known as Foxit Fill&Sign), please click on "Switch to Ink Sign" button after you have entered into the Foxit eSign tab.
