  • Automatically rotating so that text is straight when using Recognize Text/OCR

I have handwritten documents which I have scanned to PDF, but they scanned slightly skewed/rotated. Is there a way to automatically have them rotated so that the sentences are horizontal as they should be? It would mean rotating the entire document by 10 degrees or less I think.

I thought that running Recognize Text would do the trick, but it does not.

CONALMsIngMAndStALfh , Thanks for reaching out to Foxit Support. We suggest you choose to straighten the PDF page by using the "File">"PDF Optimizer">"Optimize Scanned PDF" >" Optimize Scanned PDF", choose "ON" for the Skew option in the pop-up "Optimize Scanned PDF" dialog box to automatically rotate any page so that the text is
vertically aligned, which is of great use for cleaning up scanned PDFs.Then try to use the Recognize text feature to convert image-based texts into editable or searchable texts.

    Any result,please let us know.
