  • Cutting Pages to a New File

    Hi,

    I need to;

    1. open a multipage tiff or pdf with thumbnail view shown,
    2. select some pages from the opened file's thumbnails,
    3. a right click option "copy/move selection to a new file/tab" would be perfect, (this option does not exist yet),

    Is there any quick way of doing this now? I have about 20,000 tiffs and pdf that needs this sort of processing and the less steps the better. I have to create multipage image files from single page image files.

    Also, there needs to be a thumbnail size system-wide setting that persists from tab to tab and restarts. That is costing me 2-4 clicks each time I create a new tab, or start the app.

    Thanks, Stanley

    Hi Stanley,

    To drag some pages from one tab to another tab, you may press Ctrl on the keyboard, then select the corresponding page thumbnails then drag them to another tab. If to export certain pages as an independent PDF file, you may press Ctrl on the keyboard then click on the page thumbnails, then right-click and choose 'Extract Pages'.

    But for creating multiple image files from single page image files, I'm afraid that it is not supported in Foxit PhantomPDF.

    For " there needs to be a thumbnail size system-wide setting that persists from tab to tab and restarts", could you please kindly let us know more details about this request so I could understand it better and advise?

    Thank you.
