  • Adding Security Policy and Signing documents in batch (to multiple PDFs)

    Hello,

Everyday, I need to add a security policy and sign multiple PDFs. First, I secure the documents by applying a saved security policy, then scroll down and digitally sign the PDF.

Is there a way to perform these two functions to multiple PDFs at once?

Did you sign with digital signatures? On the sign document dialog box, you will see 'Apply to multiple files' option, could you please have a try to see if it meets your need? Thanks.

This worked only if there is no security policy added.

In my case, I need to add a security policy, so first I would add a security policy, then when I try to sign multiple it gives the error "No permission to sign or certify the file", but I am still able to manually sign each certificate one by one.

This is the security policy specification I am running. Is there a way to apply the security policy to multiple PDFs at once?

chemist23, We apologize for the trouble. Regarding the issue “when I try to sign multiple it gives the error "No permission to sign or certify the file", but I am still able to manually sign each certificate one by one.” ,it has been reported to our internal bug tracking system for our QA team to do further analysis with report ID#QCPHANTOM-30669.We will keep you informed for any progress about this issue.

Regarding your another questions about "How to apply the security policy to multiple PDFs at once",you could do the following:
1:Please go to "File">"Action wizard">"Create new action">"create" to create a password protect action there. Please refer to "create wizard.jpg" this screenshot to know the details.
2:Please go to "File">"Action wizard">"Run Wizard“ to select the newly created "password protect“ this action there. Please refer to "select action.jpg" this screenshot to know the details.
3:Then please select filles and perform the action on those selected documents. Please refer to "run action on multiple files" this screenshot to know the details.
