crash 9.7 No active window

Hi there,

after a while I do not get a active window when I start PhantomPDF, 9.7, last Version. I did a lot of reinstalls but no effect.

Is there a chance to 'totally' deinstall the software to perform a new installation?

Lengen1971 Sorry for the inconvenience. Could you please follow below steps to reinstall Foxit PhantomPDF v9.7.5?
1) Please make sure you've closed all Foxit PhantomPDF related programs (IE, Firefox...) then go to "Control Panel"->"Add/Remove Programs" to uninstall Foxit PhantomPDF;
Go to "Start"->"Run"-> input regedit -> find "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Foxit Software\ Foxit PhantomPDF 9.0" and "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Foxit Software\ Foxit PhantomPDF 9.0" to delete the whole folder of Foxit PhantomPDF 9.0;
2) Install version 9.7.5 of Foxit PhantomPDF from the link.
Finally, please give the new installation a try and let us know the result. Thanks

If above does not help, can you please submit a ticket to us and enclose details information for checking?

Hi,

OK, I did as you suggest, no solution. FoxIt starts with no active window. Unfortunatelly I cannot file a ticket because 9.x is out of support.

Any further ideas?

Lengen1971 Can you please go to HELP menu and click "About Foxit PhantomPDF" to see if Foxit has been activated with your license? If not, can you please click this link to submit ticket?

As I said, I don´t have a active window. HOW should I click on something? Before that issue it was activated, sure.

And as I already explained, no ticket possible, 9.x is out of support. I can´t choose this. Consider...

I have solution (german, sry)


1. mit der Tastenkombination "Windows + P" die Anzeige auf "nur PC-Bildschirm" einstgestellt
2. das Programm gestartet, so dass das Programmsymbol auf der Taskleiste angezeigt wurde
3. mit dem Mauszeiger auf das Programmsymbol in der Taskleiste zeigen, sodass das Miniaturbild erscheint
4. Mauszeiger über dieses Miniaturbild stellen
5. die Tastenkombination "Alt + Leertaste" drücken, dann geht ein Fenster auf mit der Funktion "Maximieren"
6. Anklicken "Maximieren", dann wurde das Programm auf dem Bildschirm maximal angezeigt
