Deleting pages in multiple page file

If you've deleted the pages, then they are gone once you saved the document. And the deleted info can not be recovered.

When deleting anything on my computer, I never let anything sensitive/personal get past my file shredder. So, when deleting individual pages in multiple page files where does it go? Is that information left anywhere on my HD?
