Editor crashing when using the pen

Since a while I am using the Editor with a Gaomin pen tablet (and now with a drawing tablet monitor) to anotate pdfs and the pencil-function. When I select "Preferences - Tablet Settings - Enable pressure settings" and use the pencil, the Editor crashes moments after I draw the first line. When I deselect it, the pencil-function works fine, just not pressure sensitive.

I use version 12.0.0.12394
