Extract File Size

When I extract 2 pages from a 65 page 7MB PDF file, the resulting file is still 7MB
Often I email the file forgetting to first Optimize
Shouldn't Foxit discard the unwanted data automatically?

Dear Biff,

My reply to your post is gone. I reply again: Actually the size of the PDF document won't be reduced after you extract/delete pages from it, in contract, the size will become larger, the operation of deletion or export will add up to the document structure data. You may export the pages you want as an independent PDF document instead.
