Windows 7, Foxit Phantom 5. Using the typewriter button to make an annotation invokes the "Tablet PC Input Panel", which I don't want to use. It doesn't have a mimimize button and it can't be closed except by pressing escape, and it re-opens as soon as a location for a notation is selected. The only way I have found to keep it at bay is to turn off the windows feature "Tablet PC Input Functions", but I'd like to have it available when I do want to use it, and this disables some other things I'd like to keep. Is there an option within Foxit, in the menus or in the registry, that will keep it from bringing up the Tablet PC Input Panel?

    Hi Joflah,

It's normal that when we tap on typewriter, the on-screen keyboard will show up for your typing in. Then we could just tap elsewhere to make the on-screen keyboard disappear. Could you please kindly update your Foxit PhantomPDF to version 7.0 and see if the on-screen keyboard works normally for you? Could you please also let us know the model info of your device? Thank you.
