  • crash Crash on start V6.0

    Hi..

    Im running v 6.0.7.0806 (Business)

Everytime I open a pdf I get an immediate crash

If I run as an Admin it opens the PDF but then crashes with this in the crash file

    Edition: Business
Foxit PhantomPDF caused an Access Violation (0xc0000005)
    in module combase.dll at 0023:74fe4cbc.

Now the kicker - I'm running Windows Technical Preview (9879) - Yes I know its beta....

Looking for others experience and/or tips to get PhantomPDF running..

    Thanks Q

Do you mean you install it on Windows preview 10? Since V6.0 is old version and Windows Technical Preview a newer version, it may cause the crash issue.

I can only share that I had the same problem with the regular, non-business version. I uninstalled Foxit "Cloud" and it works fine now. Hope this helps someone.

Thank you for sharing. Foxit PhantomPDF does not include Foxit Cloud add-on.
