  • FAQ How to change colour of redacted area?

    Hello,
I am trying to change the colour of a redacted area so that it will show up in a light grey colour instead of the black it preset to. What I mean is that I want to change the preset to a different colour.

    Is this possible?

The reason for my need is that the black boxes tend to steal attention from the rest of the content. I want to redact content, see that it is redacted, but keep focus on the rest of the document.

Thanks for any tips that helps me achieve this.

    Regards

    Hi Pmquist,

When go to 'Edit'->'Redaction'->'Mark for Redaction', then you drag around the text you want to hide, you'll see a rectangle appearing, you can right-click on the rectangle->choose 'Properties'->'Appearance' then change the 'Redacted Area Fill Color'. After you set the color, then go back to 'Edit'->'Redaction'->click on 'Apply Redaction'. Thank you.
