Hello Debra Kahn,
For now, there is not any way to make the"Form Field Recognition "tool to preset the font type and size as our expected when it try to recognize form fields in PDF file.
It will make all the form fields with Helvetica font type and "Auto" font size.
I have submitted the suggestion"Default text formatting with form field recognition tool"as new feature to our internal feature system with suggestion ID#PHANTOM-5683,so that it may be considered in future versions.

Follow-up Question: I used the field form recognition feature to automatically create fields in my PDF (original PDF was created from an MSWord file). How do I set all of the newly created fields to the same font type and size?

Hi Aliogan,
Once you set a particular font size and the option multiline, please right-click on the text field, then click on "Use Current Properties as New Defaults". Then your setting will be the new default so you don't have to change every time you add a new text field. Please give it a try. Thank you.

Default font size/option for the form creation
Hello,
I am building multiple forms with a lot of text edit area, and I need to set a particular font size and the option multiline. However, the default font size is auto and multiline is not checked.
Then I need to modify every field manually so it is really not easy to do.
Is there a way to change the defaults options?
I have tried to modified the last field options and create a new one but the new one come back to default settings...
Thank you for your helpTags: None
