  • Bug Scanning with Xerox DocuMate 252

    We're using Foxit Phantom to scan files into PDF format.
    Every once in a while while we scan we're getting an error that says "An error occurred with this scan. Please try this scan again"
    If you hit OK the error just keeps coming up over and over again.
    If I close Foxit Phantom and reopen it will scan a few times until the error comes up again.

    I know it has to do with Foxit because this never used to happen when we had Adobe Acrobat.
    Also if I use Ms Paint to scan it also scans fine over and over again with no errors. ItClick image for larger version

    Sorry for the problem you encountered with Foxit PhantomPDF. Could you please let us know which version of Foxit PhantomPDF did you encounter the problem with? Thank you.

      It's Foxit Phantom Standard 5.4.2.0918

        Hi NateC2k,

        Thanks for this. Could you please kindly update your Scanner driver and give one more try? If the issue persists, please provide the following info and I'll escalate this issue to PhantomPDF Dev Team for investigation:
        1) Your detailed computer info:

        Please run it>click GetInfo>choose Save> send the saved TXT file
        2) Step-by-Step instruction to replicate the scan error.
