    Hi Al Ebbinga,

Please uninstall your existing Foxit PhantomPDF then manually update to PhantomPDF 5.5.6 or PhantomPDF 6.0.3 and see if the update helps. Thank you.

This issue has been corrected in the latest 5.5.6, would you mind upgrading to it and give it a try?

I can confirm this bug and that this bug wasn't present in the previous update to PhantomPDF. My printer has identical top and bottom print margins of 0.25 inches. The print output with either "Fit to Printer Margins" or "Reduce to Printer Margins" results in the bottom of the print output being shifted up from the bottom of the page by exactly 0.5 inches rather than by the correct 0.25 inches. As a result, the top 0.25 inches of the print output is missing. It occurs to me that this bug may be what is causing another user's crash when trying to print in Autocad 2012 as described in this thread:

Okay...I was using both "Fit to Printer Margins" and "Reduce to Printer Margins". Both centered the page horizontally, but vertically it was at the top border. I also know that it wasn't the printer, because it's working on other machines.

After uninstalling the printer driver and reinstalling, I noticed that the problem didn't do away. So, I uninstalled the new version I was on (5.5.3) and went back to 5.4.2 - problem solved. I'm pretty sure that it's a bug in the new version.

I will try this on another machine for reference, but I expect the result to be the same.

Please open print windows to check whether you choose "Fit to Printer Margin" or "Reduce to Printer Margin", if not, please have a try and let me know the result.
BTW, which version of Foxit PhantomPDF do you use now?Does it work fine before upgrade?

Top Margin or Auto-Center not working

Okay...I have a printing problem and I don't know how to fix it.

After installing the update that just came out for PhantomPDF Standard, when I go to print something the page will not automatically center. The page gets shoved way up at the top and the margins cut off the printing. It centers horizontally just not vertically.

This is not happening on other computers; they seem to print the document fine. So it's something centric to mine only.

I tried uninstalling the drivers, reinstalling them and reinstalling Foxit Phantom. Nothing helped. Any more ideas?

    Thanks in advance!
