  • Feature Is there a Foxit equivalent to Adobe PDF Link Helper in Internet Explorer

I am a registered user of Foxit PhantomPDF Business Edition. I am trying to avoid using an Adobe products, however it seems as if that is sometimes unavoidable. When I go to various websites and need to click on a PDF document to open, very often it looks for the Adobe Reader, which may or may not work.

I have changed the file type association on my computer for PDFs to ensure that they open with Foxit Phantom, but I do not know what to do to resolve issues that I run into on the Internet.

I assumed that the Adobe PDF Link Helper may be involved in this situation, however I have it disabled.

Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Hi bookbean1,

The Foxit equivalent to Adobe PDF Link Helper should be FoxitReaderBrowserAx.dll and npFoxitReaderPlugin.dll which can help to display PDF document from within browser. Could you please let us know PDF's on which website you encountered the probelm with so we could better help? If possibe, please also let us know what the error is saying. Thank you.
