Control + Left Clock?

I am trying to organize some bookmarks in a pdf but I don't seem to be able to select multiple objects for manipulation. When I try to use Cntrl and Lclick (or even try to drag a box around a group of files) it just moves to the new file... Can anyone help me out. Nesting the Bookmarks would be so much easier if I could move whole chunks : )
