Hi BramEPC,
There are three factors affecting the page layout display: 1) Initial View; 2) "Restore last view settings when reopening" option under "Preferences"-> 'History'; 3) "Default Page Layout" option under "Preferences". The display priority order is 2>1>3.
Reader will read the "History" setting first, if it doesn't contain the layout setting data, it will display according to the initial view properties in regardless of the Page layout setting under preferences.
For the toolbar icon feedback. Could you please let us know which icons you meant so I could better forward your comments for Reader PM team's processing. Thank you.

Page display mode from preferences seems to be ingored, always single page at startup
Hi,
It seems that I am stuck with opening a pdf document in single page viewing mode.
I tried changing this in the the edit/preferences/page display option, and although keeps to correct value at that place when I close and restart, he just seems to ignore it and show the pdf in single mage mode (which is also the one selected in view/page display after restarting.
Anything else I can try (did not try to reboot my computer ;p )
Other remark: don't lightly change the toolbar icon, it is the face of your product when i am looking for it in my list of 50 or more active programs and now I look over it ;(
