  • Foxit and email links

Thought I'd give Foxit Reader a try....persuade me why I should stay with it ?.....

I produce a document with Adobe Indesign CS6 which has various email links in it.
The document is exported from Indesign as an Interactive pdf.

If I open the pdf with Adobe Reader and click on an email link all the email links translate and work perfectly, address is fine and the subject line is automatically and correctly entered
Same pdf in Foxit click on an email link and the address is munged up, there is no subject added and it also automatically adds the pdf itself as an attachment !

I have gone through the Foxit Reader preferences but cant see anything obvious
I'm using Outlook 2010 as my mail client

Anybody any ideas why this is happening ?...if not I'll stick with Adobe Reader which works perfectly

Please see the attached graphic , its pretty self explanatory
    Thanks for your time

    Hi Deckard56,

May we get a copy of the mentioned PDF document for a test and further investigation? If it is inconvenient to upload here, please email it to [email protected].
The file will be kept confidential and for internal test only. Thank you in advance.
