Links not working in Foxit Reader

I hope someone can help me,
I have version 6.0.6.0722 which I believe is the latest version, I have a book open which is 1328 pages long it is loaded with links leading to different areas in the book, but I cannot click on the links at all, and I would really like this to happen so I can get to the specific topic that I want to read.

Is this a bug in the new version?
if not
what can I do to get them working ?

I downloaded the FoxitReader60_Manual and the links work, so, the question is why do the links work in one PDF file but not the other.

Hi Philem,

Please open Foxit Reader->go to 'Edit'->'Preferences'->'General'-> tick 'Create links from URLs' and give it a try. If it doesn't work for you, please go to 'Edit'->'Preferences'->'Trust Manager'->untick 'Enable Safe Reading Mode' and try again.

If the issue persists, please send us a copy of the mentioned PDF document for further testing and better advise.
