  • crash Foxit Reader 9 and IE crash on W7

10.11.2017 updated our devices (mostly Windows 7) to Foxit Reader 9 (via Enterprise msi). On all devices Foxit Reader setup was noted as successful, we kept msi logs. So far on two devices we have seen some PDF-managing problems using IE. On one of computers where via IE supposed to preview PDF appear “ATL 3.0 FoxItCtl message” middle of preview screen and sometimes Foxit crash-window appear and IE stopped working. We did Foxit setup repair and after that … error disappear, seems to. (Just yesterday repaired, we keep fingers crossed.) Today on one device at some point IE couldn’t print. Finally couldn’t print at all. Even IE close (no hidden tasks) and open didn’t help out – when try to print … just nothing happen, meaning IE etc stay alive after choosing printer, but no printing. Well, could be some IE problem, but then I looked into events and see many errors a’la …

These errors I’ve seen on both devices in question. Haven’t tried Foxit setup repair on second device, but probably will.
    So, any ideas on this?
    More thanks, Alar.
