  • 6.0.6.0722 Does not 'remember' where I left off

I open a PDF on the network. Read fifty or so pages. Close the PDF, open it and it takes my back to page 1. I have restore last view settings enabled.

I *thought* it used to keep track of my last read pointers for every pdf just like my Kindle. Am I losing it? I have resorted to placing a comment on the page before closing. Rather clumsy but it beats scanning hundreds of pages looking for where I was.

Even if it can't remember where it was, it is still the best reader I have found.

    Thanks,
    Ed

    Hi Ed,

It has been confirmed that there is a 'cannot restore last view page when reopening' bug in Foxit Reader. But it has been fixed in Foxit Reader 6.1. You may update your Foxit Reader 6.1 and give it a try.

I use the latest version of Foxit (7.3.4.311), today is November 2016. The foxit does not restore last view settings when multiple pages were opened. That's why I had to stop using Foxit Reader, unfortunately.

Please make sure the option 'restore last view settings when reopening' is checked, and the latest version is 8.1.1, could you please upgrade to it and have a try? Thanks.
