  • Evernote "greyed out" / Inactive

Foxit Reader has an icon to move PDF files directly to Evernote. Currently on my system this option is not active ("greyed out")

Any clues how to get this working?

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

    Hi Bamafan74,

There are two installation modes of Evernote: Install as a local user and Install as an admin. If you choose to install as a local user, Evernote will not write into the corresponding registry and Foxit won't recoginzed that you have Evernote installed: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\App Paths\Evernote.exe
When Evernote is isntalled as an admin, the evernote icon in Foxit Reader will become active.

Our Reader development team has confirmed this and has fixed this problem in Foxit Reader 6.2 so Evernote icon will become active when it is installe as a local user. Thank you.

          Hi Librty,

May I encourage you to re-install your Evernote as admin and see if it helps? Thank you.
