I just uninstalled and reinstalled Foxit Reader to try and get rid of this Script Error but it's still there - showing a different URL - a local one for AppData/Roaming/Foxit Software/Foxit Reader/Start Page/start/en_us/js/query.min.js
    It's driving me nuts.
Program seems to work OK if you answer stop using scripts on this page.
    Any solution?

Have just installed version 6.1.1.1031 of Foxit Reader the I'm getting the same script error "access denied: AppData/Roaming/Foxit Software/Foxit Reader/Start Page/start/en_us/js/query.min.js"

I tried removing the readonly restriction for the subdirectory and files, but it didn't help.

        Operating system is Windows 7

Bump. Same problem, windows 8.1. Would rather not switch to another PDF viewer, but will if not resolved.

                  I found the solution.

Go into Preferences (File -> Preferences) and go to General. Uncheck "Show Start Page" and "Show Advertisement"

Had the same problem and the "uncheck show Start Page and Advertisement" solution worked for me too. This is a pretty annoying bug that seems to have been introduced with a recent update. I hope it gets fixed in the next update.
