PDF with annotations causes MAC message "corrupted PDF file"

The build in PDF viewer of a MAC gives the message "corrupted PDF file" when I try to open a PDF file which has been annotated with drawing object in Foxit Reader. What to do (other than using Adobe)?

Usually, when we open and view a pdf document on a certain document windows or web viewer, we need the annotation tool to add and create annotation object on pdf document page to note, highlight, and underline the important or interesting information. Until now, my pdf document anntotor works well without any corruption.
