  • crash PDFs crashing since 9.4?

Just deployed foxit enterprise reader v9.41 (was previously using v9.1)

users are reporting lots of crashes today. I myself had the pdf reader crash.

anyone else seeing this? known issue or some configuration thing?
i have configured as per the following settings:

    [general]
    - disable auto update
    - (uncheck set as default pdf viewer)
    - uncheck show pdf files in browsers (the browsers themselves have that)

    [features]
    - de select pdf viewer -> connectedpdf
    - de select word plugin and excel and ppt plugin
    - de select browser plugin

    [shortcuts]
    - disable desktop shortcut (uncheck foxit reader desktop folder)

PDFs seem to be random, but i will gather more evidence on that front.

the GPO settings are as follows:

(oh i still cant create or remove attachments after oh so many years.. sigh..) well i dont think its a gpo problem.

Sorry for the trouble. Please help to provide us with the following information for further investigation:
    1. Your system info, like win7 32-bit, if it is windows10, please send us the screenshot of the panel"Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Administrative Tools\System Information".
    2. The crashlog.txt and CRASH.DMP files you can find under the directory C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\Foxit Reader .
    3. What detailed operation you have done at the moment of crash?
    4. Does it happen to any files? If it happens to a specific file, please send us the sample for internal test.

If it is inconvenient to upload here, you may email the PDF document to [email protected] with the subject "Attention,Lyndi". Thank you in advance.
