Sorry for the trouble. Would you please help to do as the following to create log for the creator and send us?
      HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF Creator, [DWORD]EnableLog=1
      2. After turn on Log, try to reproduce the problem and then feed back the following directory log files:
      C:\Users_CurrentUser_\AppData\Roaming\Foxit Software\Foxit PDF Creator\Creator-Log
      C:\Users_CurrentUser_\AppData\Local\Temp\FoxPrint
Compress these files and send us.

The Office add on will prevent Word & Excel from opening after a crash when attempting to use the convert to PDF add on. I've seen this on several different PCs, Win 7 & Win 10, Office 2010 and Office 2016. You have to remove the add on from all Office apps. This has happened since 9.4, and is still a bug in 9.5. It should be easy for FoxIt to replicate. Hopefully, they'll fix it soon.

i did it the first time, but now i'm using 9.3 (can be found here: http://cdn09.foxitsoftware.com/product/reader/desktop/win/9.3/FoxitReader93_L10N_Setup_Prom.exe) until next update (that fix the problem) because is easier to me use the add-in that use the printer service

first time i used foxit was in 2016. and since that, i never ever used again adobe acrobat. foxit is better <3

I uninstalled 9.5, and installed 9.3, enabled the add on and it works as expected. Thank you! Hopefully, Foxit will fix this bug soon as I have several clients that were interested, and the the add on bug scared them away.

                      Any pogress on this?
I have the same trouble with the (2016) MS Word add-in when using Foxit Reader V9.5 or V9.6.
With V9.3 the add-in works OK.
Please let me know now if you need more information from my side.
                      Thank you.

                          Hi Richell,
                          Thanks for your mesage.
                          This is my situation:
⦁ Had Foxit Reader V9.3 installed. Works OK with the MS Word Foxit Reader PDF add-in.
⦁ Closed MS Word (2016) and installed FoxitReader96_L10N_Setup_Prom.exe (Dutch). Clicked Yes to delete the previous (V9.3) installation first.
⦁ Installed V9.6 with the Word plug-in enabled.

⦁ With V9.6, after trying to create a pdf via the MS Word add-in, MS Word closes itself.
It turns out that a pdf is created (usually this pdf is opened automatically), but when re-opening MS Word I got a message that "there is a problem with the wordaddin_rdwordaddinrd, would you like to switch it off now?"

So after all, the Word plug-in is not working unfortunately.
Please find enclosed the log files you asked for.
Hope you can find the cause of this problem.

Thank you for your help, Foxit Reader V9.6 logs.zip

                          Johan.
