In the article it states known issue in version 8. As we are on version 9.7 do you know when this will be fixed?
Using Trust Manager as suggested in the article resolves the problem.
alpha001 This issue should hasn't already been fixed in V9. Did you follow the method ‘Use Preferences settings’ listed in this article to get around this issue:
If so,please help to remove 7zip from the trusted apps under preferences again and then help to provide with us the following information,so that we will forward this issue to our QA team to do further investigation:
1:Your OS information(e.g.windows10x64bit).
2o you use version 9.7.0 or V9.7.1 of Foxit Reader? You could go to "Help“ tab in Foxit Reader,click on "About Foxit Reader" to check its version number.
3:Please give us the installation location of your your 7zip application. If it is possible,please send us the URL link where you download this application.
4:After you having checked the option "Rremember your choice for this application" and hitted"OK" button in the security warning message,please go to "File" tab>"Preferences">"Trust Manager",please click on option "Change settings… " which is under 'Open Foxit PhantomPDF from applications without valid digital signatures' part to bring up "Trusted Apps…" dialog where you could find there trusted apps list to see if the 7zip application is one of the trusted apps there? Please take a screenshot of this "Trusted Apps…" dialog for us.
5:If possible, you may use the licecap tool to generate an animated gif that shows your whole process:
(Unzip it, then double-click on licecap file, you can then specify the recording area then hit "Record", it requires naming the file first then start recording.)
