The GhostScript based free PDFCreator is a good alternative to make up for the deleted PDF creation functionality in the latest Foxit PDF Reader.

AlexFer , Thanks for your comments and feedback. However, there is still no plan to add back the Foxit PDF Printer component back into Foxit PDF Reader in its recent R&D planning and Scheduling. In need of a PDF Printer for non-Editor users, as Doris has mentioned that we recommend using Microsoft's Print to PDF virtual printer. While not as robust as Foxit PDF Editor's Creator, it will help with basic PDF creation.

Given free competitor from Microsoft, I fail to see why FoxIT won't include theirs - doing so won't cannibalize sales. Offering a better product, even if free, is good advertising for the company.

Foxit Reader V9. 7.2 is the last version with Foxit Reader PDF Printer included,Foxit Reader PDF Printer has been removed in V10 already since all of features for creating PDF files in Foxit Reader have all disabled in Foxit Reader V10.

So I have a question I'd like an official response to regarding the EULA of 9.7.2.

Bit of background first - with respect to the various security flaws that have been patched in the latest version of 10 in the last few days, I've had to take the prudent step of deploying the latest version of Foxit Reader 10, replacing the 9.7 version we've kept installed for on user machines for the PDF printer. Obviously I'm getting calls asking where the printer went.

I've created an MSI transform file (mst) for the MSI installer of 9.7.2 so that it installs just the PDF printer component side-by-side with Foxit 10, by installing everything under a separate directory and registry key, and disabling the installer from checking for earlier/later versions.

I've looked over the EULA of 9.7.2 and don't see anything explicitly wrong with doing this - can you please confirm this is in fact not breaking any license terms before I deploy it to our users.

I'm a little behind on this one, but WOW this is terrible. Hopefully it's added back in after reconsideration. I don't know if this has generated more sales, I would expect not, but rather the opposite. Certainty gives me pause.

skattau ,Though the creating PDF file in Foxit Reader has been removed due to the adjustment in functions for Foxit Reader.
But our company has been providing our online Foxit PhantomPDF for free during the COVID-19 pademic period for users to them in hard times, and now it is still free for users.
So now if you want to create PDF files,you could also try to use online Foxit PhantomPDF which could access in web browser anywhere anytime:

I'm gonna go ahead and pile on here - my company used to use the PDF printer as well as creating blank PDFs and creating PDFs from the scanner pretty routinely. We were on something of a hiatus during COVID... and now I come back and it's gone. Eliminating a feature is never a good business decision, especially when you're using it as an excuse to move customers to a paid product. You've lost a customer and a lot of goodwill. This was an extremely bad decision.
