How to save a document as pdf/A format?

carmelo ,Thanks for your post.Our Foxit PhantomPDF Business supports to save a document as PDF/A format.
You may choose one of the following methods to save it into A PDF/A compliant format file:
The first method:
Open PDF file in Foxit PhantomPDF Business,go to "File"tab>"Save as",select a destination location for saving as the document,in the pop-up "save as" window,please choose "PDF/A (*.pdf)"format there,click on "Settings..." button there to bring up the "Preflight:convert to PDF/A" window where you could choose a specific PDF/A standard there(For example:you could choose option "save as PDF/A-1a"),click on "OK" "Save" to save the opened PDF file into a PDF/A format file.

The second method:
Open PDF file in Foxit PhantomPDF Business,go to "Convert"tab>"preflight" to open the "Preflight" window,please click on "Standards" tab in the opened "Preflight" window,select "Save AS PDF/A">"Continue..." ,select a specific standard there,click on "Continue..." "Save as..." buttons to convert the opened PDF file into a PDF/A standard PDF file.
