  • Printing from Windows service hangs foxit reader process

    Hi,

We have a windows service that schedules printing of PDF files we generate in a separate process. The files are created first and then FoxitReader.exe process is spawned that should print the file.

From task manager i can see that FoxitPDFreader.exe is running, but it never prints and never completes. This is only when run from the Windows service app. When i execute the command line, "FoxitPDFreader.exe /p <path>.pdf ", the document prints.

This was working until we updated to version 11, seems that could be an issue?

Is there a log or something we can check?

Thanks for the post. What is the Windows service app you refer to and how do you schedule printing with Foxit PDF Reader?
