  • Bug Text is OK, but scanned docs are blank

Several websites (including the Texas DMV) have started scanning documents and calling them PDFs.
    Here's a sample: http://www.txdmv.gov/whatyouneed/forms/salvage.htm

Since there's no real text embedded, they should have been saved as a JPG or TIF or something, but they'd rather call them PDFs.
Newer versions of Adobe Reader will pick this up and display it properly, but Foxit can't. It shows a blank page wherever a scanned document resides.

Any ideas? I'm sure this is another lame attempt by Adobe to rule the world, but Foxit needs to respond somehow...

    Thanks!

    Hello Phil,

The forms in the provided link above display fine for me. Please try to download the forms and open it on your local desktop to see if it will display correctly.

    Regards
    Christina

      Hi Christina,
Some browser-plugin forms work when e-mailed, some don't.
I have 2 samples (1 of each) if that helps. I can FTP them or email them, your choice.
      Thanks.
      Phil
