Any idea of what could be the issue? It seems to be a QT problem.

gibarian Firstly, Foxit does not support Debian system. And, Foxit Reader for Linux version has paused developed for now. The issue will be forwarded to our team for reference. Thanks for your feedback.

Hi, second uncivil response duly noted. I will also print this as a reminder of how unwelcome and rude is the support staff of Foxit. Will file as: NEVER INSTALL OR USE THIS SOFTWARE EVER AGAIN.

Sorry again for any hassle or the inconvenience this issue caused. We appreciate your detailed feedback and you sharing your thoughts with us that it could be a QT problem. Your feedback is valuable and helpful to improve our product. According to current company strategy, the existing Foxit Reader for Linux has already been discontinued and our Dev team have stopped implementing any new features/capabilities or releasing new version that includes the fix of non-security bugs for the existing Foxit Reader for Linux for now.
But I have submitted your request to our product management team and suggest our Dev team to develop a brand-new version of Foxit PDF Reader which could support Debian system better and support more Linux system in the future.

For now, as a possible workaround, you may also try with the Foxit PDF Editor Cloud which requires no installation. We could use it as long as we have a browser installed, in regardless of the OS you're using.

Hope info above helps. Please feel free to update to us if you have any further concern. Thank you again for your kind understanding.
