  • crash Foxit Reader not responding

When I open up Foxit, it is fine. But, when I click file or open any PDF it does not respond. Especially when I print, it happens every time.
I have tried reaching out to support with no prevail. Are there any known solutions to this?

    TIA

I encountered something similar in Linux. No matter what the version every time I ran it, after a while it stopped responding and eventually I had to force-quit it. So, I ran it from console and looked at the output and noticed, that whenever this happens, application is trying to start the autoupdate checker. I turned off 'check for updates' in FoxitReader and no hangs since then.
