  • how to combine multiple pdf's into one

Hi I hope someone can help me.

I installed a 3d programme, it came with an installable manual, when you click on the "manual" item in the help menu it opens up the web browser with the pages in it.
I used a convert to PDF plugin for the browser and converted all the pages into PDF documents.

How can I combine / save all of the PDF Documents in to one PDF Document (it will make the search option so much easier, by searching only one document)

    Thanks in advance

    Hi philem,

To combine multiple PDF's into one, you may try the "Insert"->"From File" under "Organize" menu or go under "File"->"Create"->"From Multiple Files" in Foxit PhantomPDF program. PhantomPDF program is free to try out for 30 days. You may download a copy from our webiste and give it a try: http://www.foxitsoftware.com/downloads/

BTW, you can also search multiple PDF documents in one folder, by using the advanced search in Foxit Reader. Press Ctrl Shift F to open the advanced search panel, then locate the folder where the documents are, then perfrom the search.

Merge multiple documents into one PDF file with drag and drop simplicity has already been implemented in Foxit PhantomPDF as well.

So once again how do you take multiple documents and make them into one?

There is NO feature to CREATE from Multiple, Drag and Drop doesn't work.

Be nice if you gave instructions that actually worked or existed.

          Thanks

Combine pdf files feature is only available in Foxit PhantomPDF, which is a paid program. The free Foxit Reader is unable to combine files. May I advise you to download FOxit PhantomPDF from our website at www.foxitsoftware.com/downloads for 14 days free trial? Thank you.

The following method is used by Adobe Acrobat Pro DC, the best PDF editor you can download. Acrobat Pro DC is premium software, which means you need to pay for the privilege of using it. Luckily, there's a free trial that you can use. It's great if you just need to merge a few PDF files this time or intend to do all the merging in the near future. In fact, there are a lot of alternatives out there that would have been enough.

Step 1: Download and install the free trial of Adobe Acrobat Pro DC.

Step 2: When downloaded, open the program and press the Tools tab in the top left corner.

Step 3: Click on the Merge Files button.

Step 4: Click the Add Documents blue button and pick the PDF files you want to merge. It should be remembered that this method works for all sorts of files, not just PDFs.
